Good Bones Studio

Webflow Developer & Graphic Designer

Full-Time in United States %LABEL_POSITION_TYPE_REMOTE_WITHIN% - $65k - $85k

Good Bones Studio designs bold brand identities and thoughtful digital experiences for startups, small businesses, and nonprofits. We partner with clients who are building meaningful products and services, and we help them show up online with clarity, confidence, and craft.

We’re looking for a hybrid Webflow Developer + Graphic Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building well-structured, scalable Webflow sites while also contributing to high-quality production design across client projects. You’ll work closely with designers and project leads to bring polished, brand-forward experiences to life.

This role offers a salary range of $65,000–$85,000, depending on agency experience, technical proficiency, and demonstrated strength across both Webflow development and graphic design skillsets.

The Role

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that balances Webflow development with design production support. You’ll spend roughly 70% of your time developing and refining Webflow websites, and 30% supporting day-to-day design needs, including presentations, templates, and brand asset creation.

The right candidate enjoys both systems-level thinking (such as CMS structure, components, and scalability), and detail-oriented design execution (such as typography, layout precision, and brand consistency.)

What You’ll Do

Webflow Development (Primary Focus)

You’ll build responsive, scalable websites in Webflow based on Figma designs, with a strong emphasis on clean structure and long-term maintainability. This includes implementing thoughtful CMS architectures, creating reusable components and design systems, and maintaining organized, scalable class structures. You’ll use native Webflow interactions to create engaging, performant experiences and QA and refine builds to ensure polish, accessibility, and responsiveness across devices.

You’ll also support ongoing site enhancements, content updates, and performance optimizations, collaborating closely with designers to ensure consistency and quality across builds.

Production Design Support (Secondary Focus)

You’ll be integrated with the design team to collaborate on a range of production needs, including: designing and updating presentations, creating email templates and marketing assets, and preparing files for digital use. You’ll help build and maintain Canva templates for internal and client use and assist designers with asset production, layout refinements, and ongoing design updates.

Required Technical Skills

You bring a strong technical foundation that allows you to execute independently and think beyond surface-level builds. This includes:

  • Advanced Webflow expertise, including CMS collections, components, variables, interactions, responsive layouts, and scalable class systems
  • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS fundamentals, including layout systems, spacing, and responsive behavior
  • Experience implementing on-page SEO best practices, including semantic structure, metadata, and performance considerations
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices (WCAG), including keyboard navigation, contrast, and screen reader considerations
  • Developing stable and responsive website layouts across multiple breakpoints, browsers, and devices.

Design & Collaboration Skills

You have a strong command of Figma, including components, auto layout, shared styles, and collaborative workflows. You bring solid graphic design fundamentals to your work, with a clear understanding of layout, typography, hierarchy, and visual consistency. You’re detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once, switching contexts smoothly while maintaining quality.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Shopify and/or Shopyflow is a plus, particularly in hybrid Webflow ecommerce setups.
  • Familiarity with API-based tools, automation platforms, or CMS-driven content systems is a bonus.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, especially for light enhancements, embeds, and third-party integrations
  • Comfort working with third-party tools and integrations such as forms, advanced search and filtering, embeds, and automation tools (i.e. Finsweet, Algolia)
  • Knowledge of animation principles and fundamentals
  • Prior experience working in a studio or agency environment is helpful, as is comfort collaborating across design and development workflows.
